Guardtier ML70 Rechargeable Flashlight 1500 Lumens

This is my 2nd Guardtier. One start for the feel & look. I returned the latest purchase but I kept this one purchased 12/10/25. Obviously out of my Amazon warranty. I have only used it once as I have multiple tactical lights like this one which still work perfectly for years. I charged the Guardtier upon receiving it and it worked. I tried to use it again and the battery showed red = less than 25% so I charge it overnight both charging times the green lite turned off. The flashlight will lite but will turn off seconds later. I tried to charge it again till the green lite turns off and then tried the flashlight and again the same non functioning problem. The light will not turn on using the tail button, I have to use the mode button for the light to come on and it only stays on for about 6 seconds. This is not reliable as I make sure my family has these type flashlights in their vehicles for safety (strobe mode) and convenience. I don't know what to do as I have tried everything and I am passed the Amazon warranty as I don't believe its their fault. Maybe I just got a bad flashlight. Some reviews did say theirs stop working after 2 months. Help, this is not acceptable for any flashlight much less a tactical one. I have Lumintop, Fenix, Streamlight and Olight and they have worked for years.RayPLEASE READ THIS UPDATE: I wrote the above review of the Guardtier tactical flashlight as I am a big fan tactical flashlight and have several. The Gaurdtier I received stop working within 2 months and it was just the 2nd time to use it. as the above review mentions. I was out of my warranty period with Amazon but to my pleasant surprise Guardtier saw my review and immediately contacted me, apologized for the inconvenience and ask for the order # for their files to give to their R&D dept for review. In the same messaging conversation they immediately said they were sending me another flashlight at no charge to me and followed it up with the tracking info. I have had the new flashlight for about 2 weeks constantly turning it on making sure it works as stated and it does. I am so pleased it does as I like the looks and feel of this flashlight as I said in the 1st review. I am even more impressed with Guardtier customer service in seeing my 1st review and immediately responding to it. Thank you Gaurdtier for being proud of your products and backing it up with a very satisfactory result through your customer service.....Ray

While I have several flashlights, I really like this one. The size is perfect for clipping on a pocket with the retention clip and it feels heavy duty compared to other lights of similar size. Takes a little while to figure out all of the settings, but not that hard. All of the different settings make it highly versatile. On full brightness turbo mode it is really bright or you can change it to the low setting that is still plenty bright for close in work while conserving battery. I also like the fact you can swap out the rechargeable battery for 2 regular AA batteries in case the battery goes dead in the field. There are extra o-rings provided in case they get damaged to maintain the waterproofness. The only thing that would have made it better was if you could adjust the beam from flood to spot. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this flashlight to others.

The Guardtier ML70 1500 Lumen EDC Flashlight has quickly earned a permanent spot in my pocket. For its size, this thing punches way above its weight class. The three brightness levels are genuinely useful—the highest setting is extremely bright, easily capable of lighting up a backyard or a trail, while the low setting is still surprisingly strong and perfect for close-up tasks without blinding yourself. One of the best features is the removable, rechargeable battery, which comes included. The light also ships with a USB-C charging cable, a removable lanyard, and even extra O-rings—a thoughtful addition that reinforces the flashlight’s water-resistant build. The battery life is solid overall: decent at full blast, but excellent on the lower modes, making it a dependable everyday carry. The design is another highlight. Its slim profile slips easily into a pocket, and the retention clip feels sturdy and secure without being overly stiff. The on/off button provides a crisp, tactile click, so you always know when you’ve activated it, even in the dark or with gloves on. It also features strobe and turbo modes, adding versatility for emergencies or brief bursts of max output. There are only a couple of small downsides. The beam is fixed, meaning there’s no adjustable focus if you prefer to switch between flood and throw. Also, the mode cycling is very fast—holding the switch down can cause it to jump through levels quicker than expected, making it easy to overshoot the mode you want and circle back.Overall, the Guardtier ML70 offers excellent value, serious brightness, and great usability in a compact, well-built package. Aside from a few minor usability quirks, it’s a fantastic EDC flashlight that I’d confidently recommend.

Thought this as an everyday carry flashlight, and it definitely works well. It's in my pocket while being clipped and is easy to pull out when needed. It has an instant on off button on the end which goes into the second highest brightness mode. Once on, you can push and hold the green illuminated button on beside near the other end. That gives you three levels of brightness. It remembers that brightness level, as long as you don't push the end cap again, so you can go right back to that mode. If the end cap is pressed and the light is on, you double tap the side button to enter the super bright mode. If you triple tap the side button it goes into strobe mode. It's definitely something that's going to blind somebody in a self-defense situation. Having the rechargeable battery inside of the flashlight is definitely a bonus. You just take it out and plug it into a USBC cord whenever you need to charge it. The flashlight is definitely heavily built with lots of grippiness. But not too rough to where it scrapes your pocket or hand. If you run it for a while it will definitely warm up.

This is a really nice, light weight, little flashlight. In spite of its size, it's very bright, but you have the option of adjusting the brightness. All you do is click a little button while the flashlight is on, and it will cycle through low, medium and high levels of brightness. That same button, when clicked three times very quickly, produces a strobe-light effect that's excellent if you need to temporarily disorient someone by harmlessly messing with their vision if you need to get away from someone quickly. It comes with a detachable wristlet, which I don't use but I'm sure others would find very handy. It has a strong, high quality clip on the side and I use that to attach it to my purse in an outside pocket so I have easy access to it if I need it. The clip detaches, too, if you don't want it on there. I didn't remove it to take a photo because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get it back on again (didn't want to risk breaking a nail). It comes with a rechargeable battery. The battery is interesting because to charge it you remove it from the flashlight and plug the charger directly into the battery. It uses a type C charging cord, which comes with the flashlight. The lights on the battery glow green while charging. When the battery is fully charged, the light goes out. If you elect not to use the rechargeable battery you can use two AA batteries.I have found this little flashlight to be very handy. I carry it with me everywhere I go.I'd also like to mention that I had a question and emailed the company at the email address supplied with the instructions and they responded to be the next business day. So, to sum it up, excellent product, excellent customer service. You can't go wrong.

Great work light

This rechargeable flashlight is a compact but powerful light that's perfect for work, camping, and emergencies. The aluminum body feels rugged and durable, while the 1500-lumen output provides plenty of brightness for both close-up tasks and longer distances. The tail switch is responsive and easy to operate, and the five lighting modes offer flexibility for different situations. USB-C charging is convenient, and the battery lasts well during regular use. Overall, it's a well-built, reliable flashlight that delivers excellent performance and outstanding value.

Awesome little flashlight. Durable and very bright.

Nice to keep charged for handy grab inside as needed

Very good light for the price! I use this light everyday at work and I have never had any problems with it. My coworkers liked this light so much they bought the same light and love it.... Very durable and compact with enough lumens light up any work area. I can not recommend a better product (I have tried several other lights ) So far this is the best light I have used !!! You cant go wrong buying this light !!!

The light itself is very bright, and perfect size for my husband to use at work. The quality feels amazing, not to heavy, and so far has worked perfect!

Liviana, luminosity y comida en su uso

Pretty good flash light I use mine daily. I like the ability to clip it onto a hat but I notice after a minute or two the clip loosens up and the light can slide off. I also didn’t realize how much I would miss having a magnet on my light but those are pretty easy to accommodate too.

After using the Guardtier ML70 for several weeks, I have found it to be well-made, lightweight and easily rechargeable. As noted in the description, the light has variable power levels and push-button switches for on-off and changing levels. The lowest level is great for reading and walking about. The highest level is perfect for long range spotting and lighting up the night. I found the slim profile and light weight to be conducive to using it on a daily basis. So handy to have such a powerful light available at all times. I can happily recommend this flashlight for EDC use.

This is a fantastic little everyday flashlight that is ruggedly built and has an excellent grip. Despite its compact size, it is incredibly bright and easy to use. You can either charge it with a USB-C cord or two regular AA batteries. I like this feature especially for camping. It also has an emergency strobe setting if the need arises. It comes with a sturdy, removable clip and a wrist strap. I use the clip, but I can see where it would be handy to attach to a bag or belt loop. I have many flashlights in the house, but this has become my go-to. For the price, this is an amazing flashlight.

I got this flashlight for me and my kids for when we go out camping. We sometimes go out for the entire weekend, and my boys are 10, so whatever I get for them has to be VERY sturdy, or it gets broken pretty quickly. We have had this flashlight now for a couple months, and it has stood up and is still going strong!!!To start, while it's light-weight, you can tell it's made of a VERY sturdy material. I don't even know how many times my sons have dropped it, even thrown it at things in the dark at times, and not even a nick on this thing! It's also EXTREMELY bright - much brighter than I was expecting! It lights up anything and everything we need it to at night. Plus, it lasts a long time, so no worries about having to swap out batteries or recharge, even if you're going out for a full weekend. We absolutely love this thing, and I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a flashlight that is bright, durable, compact, long-lasting, and reliable.

Flashlight showed up very quickly. looks and feels like a very solid device. I have had no issues with it. I really like the 2 brightness levels and the strobe mode. Only grip Is that the rear power button is only an on/off switch light modes must be switched from the button on the front of the device. Overall it is a great looking and functioning flashlight. I recommend this to anyone.

This is a fantastic product! Three levels of output plus a turbo mode. Max brightness + turbo is a flamethrower for a light this size. It also features a strobe mode which can be very handy in certain circumstances. Battery life is great and still going strong after two weeks of frequent use without a charge. Love the USB C recharge port. The controls are also a great feature. Read the concise directions, it’s worth the time. Compact and perfect as an EDC. I clip it inside my front jeans pocket and it carries well. The build quality of the aluminum body is very durable and looks great. I’ve accidentally dropped it a couple of times to concrete with no issues. Great value for the money and better than any competitive offering that I’ve seen at this price point (and I’ve shopped a lot). Buying extras as Christmas presents this year. Get one!

Nice solid flashlight. The 3 different brightness settings make it great for camping and hunting purposes. The rechargeable battery is definitely a nice feature. I don’t know how long the battery lasts yet. The clip seems strong enough. Only thing that could use improvement would be the beam itself as I feel it would be nice to have the ability to adjust its focus.

I ordered two of these, and both came with the tail cap rubber half removed. There's no way to get it back into it's groove, and there's a rattle underneath it. Sometimes it won't turn on for some reason unless you slap it. But if you don't have bad luck like me, and get a good one this could be a nice light. The metal body is solid, with good machining. No rough edges, very comfortable in the hand. Very simple to use. Tail cap button turns the light on and off and then you can actually control the brightness with the button at the front of the light. After turning the flashlight on by the tailcap button, if you press the front button once it will actually turn the LED off, but the flashlight itself isn't actually powered off. You can press the button again and it will turn the light on. If you press twice quickly it will go back and forth between bright, and medium. If you press three times, it's supposed to go into flash mode but I have to do a triple press three times before it goes into that mode. You can also cycle through low/med/high if you hold the front button while the flashlight is on. I like that when you press the tail cap button it turns the flashlight on AND, then you can control additional functions with the front button instead of having to play with half/light presses of the tail cap button to go into different modes. There's also a small light on the front button that will let you know if it's powered on which is nice. The battery that comes with it is a large 14100 battery with a USB-C recharge port right on it but you can also use two AA batteries.
