Worth the price

Perfect little flashlight. Great to attach to your keys. Helpful. Sturdy. Rechargeable. No need to spend money on replacing batteries.

Small but Bright!

This is a great little flashlight! It's compact, but puts out an impressive amount of light for its size. I keep it in our cellar, where there are plenty of dark corners, and it's perfect for lighting up those hard-to-see spaces. One of my favorite features is the magnetic base. I simply stick it to the freezer door, and it stays there until I need it. It's always easy to find, and I don't have to worry about misplacing it.It's also rechargeable, which makes it even more convenient. Overall, a super handy little flashlight that's bright, practical, and easy to keep charged. I'd definitely recommend it!

Rechargeable Pocket Flashlight

This rechargeable flashlight is great. It charges via a USB-c port. It comes with a 5/8" keyring, which you must attach. It is pretty bright. In my darkened house, it was able to light up a wall around 40-45' feet away bright enough to see clearly. Interestingly there is no switch or button to turn it on or off. To turn it on you pull the front of the flashlight away from the rear keyringed portion. It uses a strong magnet tockeep it together. It will not disconnect by accident. You turn it off by combining the 2 pieces back together. A great design. The possible drawbacks could be that there is no other settings for brightness or flashing. Personally I don't find that an issue. I have included 2 pictures to show size. The diameter is equivalent to 5 or 6 standard keys so it's a lottle thick to put your keys. But I put a small carabiner on the keyring and hook it on a beltloop of my pants. It takes anput 2 hpurs to charge. I haven't just turned it on to see how long it lasts, but it seems to last a while. You do have to separate the halves to charge, so it does turn on until you plug it in (which does turn it off). There is a blinking red led that indicates that it is charging. Light goes out when fully charged. It stays off when you inplug tue chaging cable (it does include a short cable, but we all have tons of USB-c cables at this point). I like this small flashlight a lot. A great flashlight for edc (every day carry).

Keychain Mini Flashlight / 115 Lumens, Magnetic Release / Mdl G71, Black / ASIN: B0HDCVL9MV / $26 -->$20This emergency keychain light offers good illumination at the ready. Yes, it's going to add bulk to your key ring but at great advantage that most will say outweighs the small inconvenience. And it is small, physically. Aluminum housing with textured grip, this mini light disconnects smoothly from its keychain cap for a quick, auto-on beam. But you can hang it off of anything you feel would make your life easier. You're not going to jacklight deer in your backyard with it, but it will give you a little security when you're walking back to your car at night and/or loading bags in the dark. Or you're in a store looking to see if any of your favorite canned chili slid off to the side deep in back of a store shelf. It also makes for a good map light. It reconnects even easier because of the magnet -- just bring it close to the cap and let the physics take over.I think the negative review missed the whole point. It's a KEYCHAIN light. It's there when you need a little help, not for constant use. I believe it excels at what it is designed to do. This is not some gimmick. It is a quality built tool that can help you in stressful situations if not just making some short tasks that much easier. From GUARDTIER, it's a great little product that will make an excellent gift for your loved ones. Really nice light!//

Great EDC Compact Flashlight!

There is an old military saying that the only purpose of a pistol is to fight your way to your rifle. I love these smaller flashlights just for getting into your gear in the dark and getting to a proper flashlight. In a pinch this will give you a great bright light source in very small footprint. I like to clip this to my bag/pack so I can just grab it and see what I am working with. This comes on automatically when you remove the light from the base, so you do not need to fumble around for the switch. The base and the flashlight are both magnetic, so you can place this on any metal surface and work hands-free. This is easy to charge with the USB cable, and hold a pretty good charge for the amount of brightness and the small size. The size and clip makes this an excellent item for EDC. This is a well made, durable little light that is a good value for the price.

Bright and easy to use, definitely serves its purpose with ease

For a keychain light it is definitely not bad! Its bright enough to walk with and actually see more than a foot infront of you which is nice. To turn the light on grip the head of the unit and pull the rear away. The rear is a sleeve with a magnetic ring in it that breaks a connection of some sort and the light automatically kicks on. Now i haven't tested how long the light will last before needing to charge but working as much as i have i have barely had time for anything lately. The key ring will not be installed upon receiving. It does come in the bag with the light though and is super easy to install. The key ring i feel is pretty durable as well as the light. Now that being said i still plan on having a backup ring on the light because small rings like this still tend to be torn up in my life. To charge your lifht there is a type c charger under the sleeve on the side of the lighr body. Use a low power device to charge the light. These kind of lights tend to have a lower watt battery and you dont want to overcharge the battery. This light would be great for someone that comes home late at night from work, hiking or power outages and navigating the house when it is pitch black in the house. It will light up the place very very well. Price is more than acceptable fpr the results of the light. The light body is made of an aluminum material and holds up well to being dripped.

Simple Magnetic Keychain Light for Finding the Keyhole

The media could not be loaded.

[A Light Just for the Keyhole]Our front door has a motion sensor light, but the keyhole still stays dim and hard to see. There were many times I struggled to unlock the door when all I wanted was to get inside and use the bathroom. I had been looking for a small light just for the keyhole, so I decided to give this one a try.[No More Dead Batteries]My old flat, thin mini light kept getting switched on inside my bag, and the battery was often dead when I needed it. This light only turns on when the cap comes off, so that never happens. I also stopped using a coin battery light after buying new batteries became a hassle. This one is rechargeable, so I can charge it anytime from the power bank I carry for my phone.[Easy USB-C Charging]With the cap off, the USB-C port is on the side of the light. Plugging in the cable turns the light off automatically, and charging starts. With nail tips on, the small port cover is hard to open. A full charge takes 2 hrs, and the runtime is 2.5 hrs. At 2 or 3 uses a day for about 10 seconds each, it should only need charging once or twice a year.[Simple Magnetic Design]The only function is pulling off the cap to turn on the light. There are no beam, brightness, or flashing modes, but I don't think a keyhole light needs them. A strong magnet holds the cap on, and it has never come off while hanging from my bag. When the cap gets close to the light, the magnet pulls it right into place. Both the light and the cap also stick to iron surfaces, and I was able to light up my cat hands-free. (lol)[Solid Aluminum Build]The build is simple and sturdy. The solid look of the aluminum body reminds me of MagSafe, and it doesn't feel like a toy at all. It also looks like it will hold up well. With IPX5 water resistance, I feel fine leaving it on my bag on rainy days, but it shouldn't be submerged. A split ring and a short USB-C cable come with it, too.[Value]For this quality, I think the price is fair. I'm happy with this light. The box is simple, but it should make a nice gift, too.

Bright, small, and convenient

The G71 keychain flashlight is compact and easy to use. The magnetic switch is innovative making it perfect for a backpack or dog leash. Operating it is unique but could be problematic for some. The flashlight comes apart to turn on. So that is something to consider. Charging via USB C is another strong positive for a low cost flashlight. I got this for my dog leash making night walks a bit more convenient. It serves me very well so I’m happy with it.

Compact and practical secondary light source for keychains

I added this G71 EDC flashlight to my keychain as a quick secondary light for daily use in dark spaces. Overall, it’s a handy, low-profile tool that clips right onto my key ring without feeling heavy or too bulky in the pocket. The size and USB-C recharging are decent positives. It fits easily alongside a set of house keys, and not having to hunt for tiny replacement coin batteries is a major plus. The beam gives off a clean flood pattern that works well for close-up tasks, like finding a keyhole or checking under the hood. The only trade-off is the battery life. Because the internal battery is smaller, running it for longer period of times drains the charge pretty fast, so it’s really meant for short bursts rather than long uses. But this is kinda expected considering the size of the light. It’s a practical little backup light to keep on hand for daily EDC use.

A Great Little Light With A Strong Magnet And Rechargeable Battery

This little flashlight works very well, and the magnet is super strong. The turn on and turn off operation is incredibly simple—you just remove it from its steel case, and the magnet holds it in the case very securely when not in use. One thing to note is that removing the light leaves the little case loose while you are using it, so I simply have been keeping this in my pocket separate from the key chain. I do have one minor complaint regarding everyday carry. If you are going to place it on your key chain that might be clipped to your belt, which is exactly how I carry mine, it is easy enough to pull the flashlight out, but it is tough to one-hand it back into the little case. I am not sure how that design could be improved, but for what it does, it is a very nice little light. The bright 115-lumen output is extremely handy, and the fact that it is USB-C rechargeable too is a big plus. It is a clever, well-built, and very useful everyday carry item that easily earns five stars.

Great little keychain light but not my favorite as an EDC

The G71 is well made and durable. It is light enough to be your keychain flashlight. It is sufficiently bright for a little thumb sized light. It does not have a typical button switch to turn it on/off. What makes this different is that you turn it on by separating it from its base and you turn it off by putting it back with its base. A fairly powerful magnet will connect and keep connected both parts. My concerns about the 2 parts accidentally separating in my pocket (thus turning on the light) is put to rest. The magnetic bond between the 2 parts are more than sufficient to keep them together.I have to admit that there is a novelty about turning on and off the light in this manner. And there is immediate interest from friends to try it themselves. You can hear and feel that “snap” as the 2 parts connect… it’s oddly satisfying. But in practical use, you should consider these points.1. I typically need both hands to turn on the light because you need to pull the 2 halves apart.2. If you for some reason lose one of the 2 parts, I no longer would consider it an EDC candidate.3. Even though you can hang it around your neck with a lanyard (probably could turn on the light with one hand in this case), you can’t have the light on while hanging on your lanyard.4. Because the light unit has a magnetic end, you can stick it on a metal surface while the light is on.In summary, this is a high quality light and is fun to show friends. However, I do not prefer this as my EDC mainly because it requires both hands to turn on/off. I primarily keep this at home and in my car.

nice light

This flashlight has been great so far. I love how small and bright this little thing is. I also really like the magnetic cap that turns the light on and off. I do wish the charging port was in a different location so the light does not turn on when I go to charge it but that is not a huge deal. other than that I really like this light and would recommend it.

Easy to use & works great!

The Guardtier G71 EDC Keychain Flashlight is really easy to use, and it works great. It's super small, but very bright (especially for it's size), it's lightweight, durable, and portable. The magnet on the end is strong, adheres well, and stays in place. It comes with a keychain ring, and to turn on the light, you only have to pull down, and it's on. It's also rechargeable with a long lasting battery life - doesn't take long to fully charge it either. This mini flashlight is multipurpose too. I was a bit skeptical when I ordered it, I thought it would add too much bulk to my keychain, but I was way wrong - it's perfect! Overall, I think it's very well made, well designed, and high quality - worth the price. I highly recommend it!

A great little light

I really like having this little flashlight on my keychain because it gives me a convenient light source without adding much bulk or weight to my everyday carry. The aluminum body feels sturdy, and the pull-on, snap-off design makes it quick to remove when I need to use it separately from my keys. The magnetic base is especially useful for hands-free lighting since I can attach it to a metal surface while working on something. The USB-C rechargeable design is convenient, and the 115-lumen output is plenty for checking dark areas, finding things in the car, or handling small tasks around the house. It is compact, easy to carry, and has become a handy little light to keep with me.

G71 EDC Keychain Flashlight

The Guardtier G71 EDC Keychain Flashlight is a highly versatile, ultra-compact pocket light tailored specifically for quick-access everyday carry (EDC) and outdoor emergencies. Its design strikes a careful balance between minimal pocket bulk and multi-functional hands-free utility. Unlike traditional flashlights that require scrambling for a tiny button in the dark, the G71 utilizes a quick-release mechanism. You can quickly pull the flashlight body away from its keychain anchor to turn it on instantly, making it highly responsive during sudden power outages or outdoor emergencies. The tail end of the flashlight is equipped with a powerful magnetic base. This allows you to snap the light onto a car hood, fuse box, or any metallic surface to clear up both of your hands while working on roadside repairs or setting up camp. Constructed from machined aluminum rather than cheap plastic, the casing is designed to take a beating on a daily keychain. It resists pocket scratches, accidental drops, and basic weather exposure while remaining light enough that it won't weigh down your ignition or drag down your pocket.
